My name is Misty Shim, and I’m the breeder and founder of North Scottsdale Doodles. We are located in the beautiful sunny state of Arizona. I am a wife, proud mama of 4 boys and an entrepreneur
From the time I was a little girl dogs were family. I learned firsthand the joy, and unconditional love that dogs bring into our lives. Growing up we bred labs. We also had Poodles and Golden’s Retrievers in our family. My love for the breeds began. It was definitely a happy place for me. That early connection sparked a lifelong passion leading to the creation of North Scottsdale Doodles.
The Goldendoodle breed is so loving and wonderful for kids which was so important for us. We love little people and wanted to share the goodness of this breed with EVERY family possible so that not only we can experience it, but you can too. They are truly life changing!
From birth, our puppies are surrounded by love and raised in our home . We also use early neurological stimulation (ENS) and introduce them to various sights, sounds, and experiences to help them develop confidence, social skills, and adaptability along side of our four human boys. By the time they go to their forever homes, they are definitely well-adjusted and ready for new adventures.
Every family is unique, and so is every puppy. We take the time to understand your lifestyle, preferences, and needs to help you find the perfect companion.
Our relationship with you doesn’t end when you take your puppy home. We offer ongoing support, training tips, and advice to ensure a smooth transition and a happy, lifelong bond with your new best friend.
Parent dogs have excellent temperaments (nice, easy-going). Breeding focuses on temperament.
Health testing is performed on all breeding dogs (healthy moms and dads).
